From a 1.2-Ton Monkey Pod Log to a Stunning Reception Desk – Abu Dhabi (2022)

In 2022, Kamaya Woods completed a unique commercial furniture project for a medical clinic in Abu Dhabi. The client wanted a statement reception table crafted from a single 3.4-meter Monkey Pod (Suar) wood log, preserving its natural beauty with no epoxy resin.

Weighing approximately 1.2 tons, the handcrafted solid wood reception desk was too large to move through the building conventionally. Our team carefully coordinated a crane lift to safely install the table inside the clinic, making it one of our most challenging and rewarding installations.
